"Save Yourselves" skill question.. - Guild Wars Forums

Howdy,

I was wondering if unlocking this skill on one character unlocks it for other characters?

I have a ele that has beaten factions so he can actually gain more faction to get the skill... but my warrior hasn't even started factions and I would rather not progress him through the story just to get to that place.

you can buy it in any kurzick/luxon guild hall for 3000 faction no matter what rank you are. You can also gain the 3000 required faction on an character and buy it for your warrior.

Lux/Kurz skills have a req of lvl 20 aswell, don't they? Anyway, you get to 20 in Factions quickly enough anyway.

no, you must purchase the skills with the character you want to use the skill on, also it's worth noting that only lvl 20 characters can buy the skills.

Wait.. so, I can or can't get the skill on another character for my warrior?

So, the only way is to get my warrior to lvl 20 and get 3k faction, then I can purchase the skill?

You just need 3k Luxon faction to go grab it on your warrior.

You need to be at least rank 1 of Kurzick or Luxon for the skills they provide.

you can obtain the faction on your ele, i.e go play in factions to get that 3000.

but then you need to hop onto your warrior, who needs to be level 20, and go and buy the skill from the guild hall etc with him.

Btw, it doesn't matter if I get 3k kurzick or luxon faction does it?

well... it does in some ways.

For example if your guild is kurzick it would be easier to buy the kurzick skill as the guild hall will have the npc.

But mainly, you should get the skill for the rank you are higher in, or intend to get higher in.... which is usually the allegiance of your guild anyway.

Like I'm r12 kurz and r6 luxon so I'd get more benefit out of having a kurzick skill ofc.
